Bible Verse: Luke 2: 6-7. While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for the baby to be born, and Mary gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them.
Prayer: As we look at the rock where Jesus was born, we rejoice in the Christmas story and all the wonderous glory which was in the little town of Bethlehem, and the fields, where shepherds watched their flocks by night. We join the heavenly choir of angels singing, “Glory to God in the highest” as we give thanks for this wonderful and immeasurable gift of hope, wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger. Amen
